2016 MERLOT

This wine is organically grown with little intervention in the cellar, 15 day natural fermentation with indigenous yeasts followed by an 18 month elevage in neutral french oak.  Bottled unfined and unfiltered, This classic expression of Merlot offers beautiful layers of dark red fruit, smooth tannin and bright acidity.  Quite approachable now, but we feel that this will develop beautifully over the next several years.  
 

2014 RED BLEND

From our estate vineyard on the eastern end of Sonoma Valley; Pansey Valley. We make a small amount of  wine from co-fermented syrah and merlot in especially low yielding years such as 2014.  After 24 months in neutral french oak barrels, this wine has reached its full potential.  From another drought year, this wine offers concentrated red berry fruit, dark chocolate and black pepper signatures of the varietals used.
